Groupon has become a popular platform for finding deals on everything from dining to travel. Yet, many people still have questions about how it works and what to expect. This post answers some of the most common questions we get about Groupon, helping you make the most of your experience.

What is Groupon and how does it work?
Groupon is a website and app that offers discounted deals on products, services, and experiences. Businesses partner with Groupon to promote their offerings by providing special prices to Groupon users. Customers buy these deals, called "Groupons," which they redeem later either online or in person.
The process is simple:
Browse deals in your area or for specific categories like restaurants, spas, or travel.
Purchase a deal directly through Groupon.
Receive a voucher or code to redeem the offer.
Use the voucher within the specified time frame.
Can I use multiple Groupons?
We allow one Groupon to be used per treatment area. The Groupon deals are steeply discounted and then Groupon keeps most of the price paid. The amount that our business receives from each voucher sold is minimal. In order for us to be able to stay in business and continue to serve our clients we can only allow for one Groupon voucher to be used per area. After this you can purchase additional treatments directly in office or on our website. We frequently run sales, so watch for those if you want to catch a good deal!
What happens if I miss the expiration date?
Groupons have strict expiration dates. Once expired, they usually cannot be refunded. We honor expired Groupon vouchers as long as we can redeem them. If we cannot redeem them, we cannot honor them, because we don't get paid anything for them until they are redeemed.
How do refunds work on Groupon?
Refunds are processed through your original payment method and you have to contact Groupon customer service directly and work with them to get your refund. As a business we never receive the full amount that you have paid and so we are unable to refund you ourselves.
Can I gift a Groupon to someone else?
Yes, you can gift Groupons. After purchase, you can forward the voucher to someone else via email or print it out for them. This makes Groupon a popular choice for gifts like spa treatments, dining experiences, or classes.
How do I redeem a Groupon?
Show the voucher on your phone or a printed copy at the business location. Your order email is not enough to redeem your voucher. We have to be able to see the redemption code or be able to redeem it on your app.
Can I use Groupon without creating an account?
You need a Groupon account to purchase and redeem deals. Creating an account is free and allows you to track your purchases, access vouchers, and receive deal alerts. Signing up also helps protect your purchases and makes refunds easier if needed.
Who creates the Groupons?
We work with Groupon to create the service voucher. They then write, edit, and change the wording, pricing, and sales prices at their discretion. Often times we do not know what they have changed until it is brought to our attention. We do not control the sales or daily promos that they run. We do not have the ability to change much of the wording that they have chosen for the vouchers.
